Tournament Etiquette And Rules
This page defines expected behavior, scoring standards, and fairness requirements for all DIGU tournament matches.
Match Etiquette
- Be seated before the scheduled start; late arrival may be marked absent by tournament staff.
- Use respectful language and avoid distracting other players during active rounds.
- Only touch your own cards and table area unless all players clearly agree.
- Keep phones silent. Tournament app usage for scoring is allowed; unrelated use is discouraged.
- If there is a dispute, pause the round and call a supervisor immediately.
Scoring And Round Rules
- Scores must be entered in the app right after each round and confirmed by all players at the table.
- The scorer must verify seat order before round one; incorrect seat order affects standings.
- Use the DIGU marker only when DIGU conditions are fully met for that round.
- Neutral/absent replacements can play a seat, but tournament points handling follows admin policy.
- Never edit a previous round unless a supervisor or admin approves the correction.
Fair Play And Enforcement
- No collusion, score manipulation, or intentional stalling.
- Any player can request a score check before the game is marked finished.
- Tournament admins may review and adjust invalid entries after investigation.
- Repeated misconduct can lead to warnings, score penalties, or disqualification.
- By joining the event, players accept admin and supervisor decisions as final.
